... Just something I worked on over the weekend. They're getting ready to break up ... I know, sad huh?
Dont worry, they'll be fine

Portrait with Cigar

You could call this a self-portrait, although I really wasnt focused on getting a likeness (though I think I still did), as much as trying to convey someone slightly distant and aloof ... big statement right? Since I dont have models, I had to paint myself.

Bridge Walk

This was just for fun. It was a rainy day, and as I was driving home from work I noticed a man walking across a bridge over the interstate ... so I did this.

Oil 12"X24"

(insert obscure artist title here)

Basically, my living room needed some color and a bit of chaos ... this is what erupted from that need.

All in all it was fun to do ... and way too easy. If I were an established artist this would cost a fortune ... bummer

Sam's Steakhouse

I did this painting for the owner of Sam's Steakhouse located close to Grants Farm. Its a painting of the outside of his restaurant. He said he planned on using it for the menu cover. I must be famous now.

and nope, the owners name isn't Sam ... weird, I know...

Oil 20"X24" ... i think

Florence at night

This was my wedding present to Dave and Lindsey McCoy when they got married last June.

Pretty sure they like it ... yeah, they do.

A portrait of the Stone kids from church I did last spring.

Some Oldies

I figured this post would be a mini timeline of some of my past paintings as I continue to update my blog with more recent ones. So, here we go!

Heres a portrait of my Dad with his Dad outside a golf club in Ireland. My first portrait, I believe.

How could I forget my cute little niece, Reagan?

A still life complete with wine, glass, and flowers.
